Oncology Nurse Practitioner New

Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday–Friday) + Four weekend calls per year (hospital rounding Saturday & Sunday)

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative care team. This advanced practice provider will deliver high-quality care to hematology and oncology patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, working closely with supervising physicians and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology care, including patient assessments, treatment planning, and follow-up.
• Manage acute oncology-related issues and oncologic emergencies.
• Educate patients and families on chemotherapy and treatment plans.
• Support inpatient rounds and coordinate care across settings.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to maintain high standards of care.
  
  

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA licensure and certification.
• Oncology experience required (minimum 1 year).
• ONS certification preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
