I work in an inpatient setting seeing patients for the Hematology/Oncology group. The hospital system allows students from NC schools and students from other schools who are currently employed by the health system.

Gerontological - Long Term Care Setting

Clinical management of patients in a long term care facility. The primary role of the NP in a LTC setting is the treatment and management of common acute and chronic conditions, however it is a holistic approach. Excellent opportunity for an individual seeking AGNP certification

Inpatient Malignant Hematology

This would be considered an inpatient acute care rotation with emphasis in malignant hematology

I am happy to precept for anyone who may be interested in liver diseases.

Private Psychiatric Office

I do psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management in an office with one psychiatrist and 5 therapists. I have precepted 2 APRN students in the past. I work with people aged 13 and up, all diagnoses. I am also board certified as a CNS so would be able to precept CNS students also.
