2020 Triad Chapter of the GAPNA-NC Mentorship Award Nomination is Open
Deadline: November 7, 2020
Criteria to be met:
Applicant must:
- Be a member in good standing and participate in the GAPNA organization nationally and locally
- Demonstrate nurturing, education and leadership among nurses and nurse practitioners in the care of older adults
- Model the values, attitudes, and behaviors consistent with the profession
- Coach nurses/nurse practitioners in their individual professional development plans and be involved in their involvement in the GAPNA
- Exhibit enthusiasm in the development of other nursing professionals
Application/Nominate to include:
- Completed personal and professional information to include: name, address, GAPNA membership number, current employment, and a short bio/CV
- If self-nominating, 2 personal references from colleagues/mentees
- 600-word maximum essay as to why the applicant should be awarded
